Your main role is to respond to and convert enquiries through the various online portals, emails and telephone calls to achieve M&E rooms budgets for the hotels.
Duties as an Events Executive include, but are not limited to:
- Confirming events, handling client requests with relevant teams, ensuring repeat business
- Responding to enquiries for all small to medium sized groups and events, using Cvent, Venue Directory, Salesforce Communities
- Proactively converting and upselling additional products like higher room categories, drinks receptions, enhanced F&B offerings
- Engaging with clients/agents in relation to their enquiries; i.e. using Upmail to send proposals, liaising with preferred suppliers
- Creating personalised proposals through Upmail for events tailored for individual clients
- Actively contributes to your immediate as well as wider hotel and regional teams
- Communicating effectively with both internal and external guests/clients/agents (including hotel colleagues) via written correspondence, phone and face to face
