Position 4 Year Engineering Apprenticeship – Instrumentation and Control, Stowmarket, PPG.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering maintenance on a variety of plant and industrial equipment at a large site.
- Specialise in Instrumentation and Control, from calibration of field devices to interrogation of PLC control systems.
- Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Document work and maintain records in accordance with company procedures.
Schedule and Training
- Work on site 4 days per week; attend college 1 day per week.
- Complete apprenticeship with the goal of HNC/HND qualification.
Qualifications / Skills
- Currently completing or have completed A Levels in Mathematics and Science or an engineering vocational qualification.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- UK school leavers with strong Maths and Science GCSE results are welcome.
- A drive for practical, hands-on work and attention to detail.
