Fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading Fortune 500 organisation. Join our successful and engaged team in Runcorn to lead the Quality Assurance process. Ensure that all manufactured products meet both internal and end customer requirements for quality for a manufacturing site. Lead quality assurance for manufacturing and remote location(s). Reporting to Quality Director EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate a culture of quality through communication, awareness activities and action.
- Collaborate with the site management team to set quality goals.
- Lead the use of a quality management system through influence leadership.
- Use and promote the QMS observing industry standards and customer expectations/customer scorecards documented through 3rd party registration/certification.
- Identify quality control processes to ensure that product performance criteria are met at all times.
- Record quality findings and communicate this information to the appropriate leaders.
- Participate in crucial decisions in favour of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
- Manage an internal audit programme to ensure product conformity in final product and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working to IATF 16949.
- Five (5) or more years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Continuous Improvement / Lean experience.
- Prior experience handling customer complaints including the containment process and applying root cause analysis.
