Salary: £32,534 - £38,000 (£15 - £18 Per Hour) - Guaranteed 48 Hours Pay Per Week (Even If You Work Less Hours!)

Position Summary:

PPG are a global organization founded in 1882. Our brands include Johnstone’s and Leyland Paint and we serve our customers from our Carrickfergus Warehouse.

A day in the life of a HGV Class 2 Driver includes:

  • Delivering to a range of customers throughout our network.
  • Start times between 04:00AM - 08:00AM.
  • Completion of pre-use checks on vehicle.
  • Adhering to all drivers’ regulations including working time directive.
  • Loading your vehicle for the next day.

A week in the life could look like:

  • Monday - Cork run start 04:00 - 04:30
  • Tuesday – Return from Cork for 7:30-08:00 local run
  • Wednesday – Armagh 06:30
  • Thursday – Dublin 04:30
  • Friday – Newry 06:30

Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 License.
  • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Multi-drop or similar HGV driving experience (desirable).
  • A professional, customer facing approach.
  • Flexibility for early starts and overnight stays.
