The Quality Specialist supports the delivery of Clinical services, assures ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements, and performs improvement activities through continuous monitoring and evaluation of the quality system.
Responsibilities- Generate and prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Analyze and investigate deviations and quality events to identify areas for improvement.
- Review, approve, and communicate root causes and corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Track documentation as necessary and manage data related to CAPAs, deviations, and quality KPIs.
- Record, track, and trend audit findings and response times.
- Support external client audits or regulatory inspections by creating reports, gathering documents, and supplying requested data.
- Perform effectiveness checks on deviations and quality events to determine efficacy of CAPAs.
- Support and facilitate eQMS activities such as document management, QA review and approvals, and change control assessments.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with GVP, GCP, and GDP requirements.
- Work professionally with clients, team members, and management.
- Demonstrate excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Use analytical skills to gather and interpret data, identify trends and outliers.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, providing feedback and identifying improvements.
- Prioritise and organise tracking of data, documentation maintenance, and record keeping.
- Display accuracy and attention to detail to ensure standards are met.
- Work proactively, with minimal supervision.
- University or bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Experience with deviations, CAPAs, and effectiveness check handling.
- Preferred: Knowledge and experience with GxP Quality Management Systems (record management, reporting, data analytics).
