We have an exciting new opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Automotive Refinish team. This role will be responsible for generating new business, driving sales growth through our distribution channel and building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or key account management within a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Win new paint mixing scheme business
- Deliver our digital offer Inc M n S (electronic paint stirring machine via monthly subscription) and give field support
- Install and train-in Max Meyer Mixing Machines and LINQ (digital colour identification via monthly subscription)
- Support our Multiple Site Operator customers with monthly visits and audits via health and safety APP
- Deliver Customer Inventory Management System training (It based) and field support
- Deliver dry goods proposition, manage larger scheme users, Elite Bodyshop Programme Members
- Manage and Grow Allocated Account wallet share and Value
- Manage Technical Approval Fee Investments Manager customer ledger aged debt
- Manage loan stock
- Verbally support customer technical and colour issues
- Work closely with and support the branches and wider team
- Maintain and Update Salesforce CRM
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, key accounts or in a similar role within the automotive refinish, paint or industrial sales sector.
- Strong market knowledge, including market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Technical experience, especially around products and application methods
- Sales experience within a technically driven market sector, and of selling through distribution
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to travel
