At PPG, we work in partnership with our customers to create mutual value and deliver winning solutions. This role plays a key part in driving growth across private label and branded portfolios through insight‑led activation, strong collaboration, and best‑in‑class execution.
As Customer Brand Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the Channel and Brand Marketing teams to deliver key initiatives across leading paint brands within the coatings market. Partnering with the EMEA Product Portfolio team, you will brief on product and customer requirements, and working with the wider Marketing team lead shopper activation activities that bring key messages to life for the target customer. You will also develop and deliver the annual Account marketing plan in conjunction with the Commercial Controller, ensuring sales and profit objectives are achieved.
This role offers the opportunity to work cross‑functionally with multiple business teams to successfully deliver the Account marketing plan within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Acting as the Account champion, you will bring the voice of the customer and end user into the business, enabling you to operate confidently in both internal and external customer settings. With a strong passion for winning, you will be driven to continuously improve Account performance through high‑ROI marketing campaigns and by converting shoppers across all point‑of‑purchase opportunities.
What you'll do
- Private Label & Range Development
- Own the ongoing growth and development of the Private Label range, using end‑user insight and market trends to inform future direction.
- Lead and manage future tenders, working cross‑functionally to deliver competitive, customer‑led propositions.
- Brand & Account Activation
- Bring brand plans to life through compelling presentations to secure new listings and expanded ranging.
- Create bespoke content, promotions, and activations aligned to the wider PPG brand marketing calendar.
- Deliver tailored annual promotional plans aligned to the Retailer calendar, driving growth and share of wallet.
- Implement staff incentive programmes and training to build advocacy and conversion in‑store.
- Range Reviews, Insight & Strategy
- Lead range reviews and growth driver initiatives, including the activation of Category Management programmes.
- Collaborate closely on insight generation, translating data and trends into clear strategies and activation plans.
- Support strategy planning to unlock future growth opportunities across the account.
- Digital & In‑Store Excellence
- Support digital activation across merchandising, social content, and thought leadership to deliver a joined‑up omni‑channel experience.
- Develop bespoke line plans and planograms in collaboration with the Retailer, ensuring strong in‑store execution.
- Partnership & Relationships
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with key customer stakeholders and internal teams, working as One PPG to deliver shared success.

- Previous experience in a busy brand, product or shopper marketing environment.
- An enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude to your work.

- A track record in co-ordinating projects that involves collaboration with product teams and working with internal teams to achieve a common goal.
