Exciting opportunity to join an $18 billion turnover, multinational organization in a high impact role for our retail business. You will deliver comprehensive HR services at the local level, ensuring understanding of the regional HR Business Services goals and compliance with local regulations. You will report to the HR Business Services Country Leader. You will emphasize local service delivery, which accounts for 75% of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Local Service Delivery: 75%
- Hiring and Onboarding: Support managers in preparing job descriptions. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into our company. Support the hiring and termination of contingent workers.
- Compensation: Advise managers and HRBPs regarding compensation changes due to employee movements. Advise managers on employee wages ranges and increases. Administer sales incentive plans, handle letter preparation and payout calculations with Finance and Sales.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead HR process improvements, standardization and transformations.
- ER/LR: Monitor changes in laws, draft updates to company policies, and distribute new regulations to relevant parties. Maintain regular contact with local managers, provide coaching. Provide legal advice on employment matters to ensure compliance with local labor laws, including policies, sick leave, absenteeism, and leave management. Advise and conduct disciplinary actions/grievances and advise managers and HRBPs on legal aspects regarding voluntary and involuntary departures. Manage employee separations, and offboarding processes. Prepare labor and government audits. Prepare new/changes in regulations/policies if the law is changing. Handle daily labor relations. Prepare and lead Union/works council negotiations. Conduct on site Ethics investigations.

- Performance Management: Support local goal setting upon request of local leadership. Clarify mid-year performance activities upon request/ensuring compliance. Support on year-end rating collection and calibrations.
- Talent Management and Engagement: Provide insights into local talents for regional or global talent reviews. Provide insights into local talents for succession planning. Facilitate engagement survey result sharing, action planning and Bottom Quartile management upon request of local leadership.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Support and facilitate DEI education.
- Local Initiatives: 5%
- Consult and decide on medical services coordination/wellness or other specific local activities according to Global PPG Procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 or more years of experience in HR Manager roles in a national or global company in a retail industry. 10 or more years of experience of employee relations activities.
