Contract Type: Fixed term
To manufacture fluoropolymer coatings, ensuring all products/goods/materials are produced to the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Process and manufacture products according to IFS Shop Orders, following all instructions outlined in the Shop Order/Process Control System.
- Immediately report any quality issues, shortages of raw materials, consumables, intermediate bases, or finished goods to the Production Manager or Shift Managers.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of procedures within the work areas.
- Ensure the safety and daily checks of FLT/Reach trucks are maintained.
- Clean and maintain equipment in line with 5S requirements as part of daily duties.
- Help maintain daily audit data in accordance with SQCPD requirements.
- Follow health and safety guidelines as per the company's policy and conduct risk assessments as required.
- Promote health and safety best practices within the team.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by the Production or Shift Managers.
- Adhere to PPG Whitford's code of conduct and policies.

Requirements:
- Essential:
- Counterbalance FLT license (Reach license is preferable)
- Ability to implement Lean principles
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-achieving team
- Strong organizational skills
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week on rotating shifts (06:00 – 14:00 & 13:00 – 21:00)
