This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Spanish Teacher. Are you fluent in the Spanish language? PPA Cover Ltd is seeking a talented Spanish Teacher to join our team. The role involves representing our company in primary schools and delivering engaging lessons that help students progress through our up-to-date lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Spanish Teacher in one of our wonderful Primary schools in the New Malden area (KT3). This role will include leading classroom teaching and delivering our scheme of work. We will provide all access to the detailed pre-planned lessons termly to the successful candidate. The wage for this position is £20.00 per teaching hour. This role is for work during school term on the following days and times (excluding lunchtime): 1 Full Day per week working between 9am - 3.30pm. The school are currently flexible on day, therefore please confirm your availability upon application.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching classes across various year groups during teachers' PPA time
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities effectively
- Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
- Providing support and guidance to students as needed
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning experiences
- Assisting with pupil assessment where required
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS, but not essential
- Valid Right to work in the U.K. and reside in the U.K.
- Previous experience teaching ideally within the U.K. either in Classroom settings, groups or 1:1
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum
- A passion for teaching, bringing energy and passion to the classroom, inspiring students to learn and grow
- The ability to deliver engaging and innovative lessons that captivate students' interest and foster a love for learning
- A fluent speaker or a degree in Spanish
- Strong classroom/behaviour management skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Capabilities of forming strong and lasting connections with students and colleagues while making positive contributions to the school community
- Valid enhanced DBS Certification (This can be gained through PPA Cover Ltd if required)
- Confidence in their teaching ability
