Job description
PPA Cover Ltd is seeking a talented Music Teacher to join our team. The role involves representing our company in primary schools and delivering engaging lessons that help students progress through our up-to-date lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Music Teacher in one of our wonderful Primary schools in the Bradford-on-Avon area (BA15). This role will include leading classroom teaching and delivering our scheme of work. We will provide all access to the detailed pre-planned lessons termly to the successful candidate.
The wage for this position is £22.50 per teaching hour.
This role is for work during school term on the following days and times :
Tuesday Morning plus Lunchtime Club
Wednesday Morning plus Lunchtime Club
Thursday Morning plus Lunchtime Club
Responsibilities
Teaching classes across various year groups during teachers\’ PPA time
Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities effectively
Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
Providing support and guidance to students as needed
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning experiences.
Assisting with pupil assessment where required
The ideal candidate will have
QTS, but not essential!
Valid Right to work in the U.K. and reside in the U.K.
Previous experience teaching ideally within the U.K. either in Classroom settings, groups or 1:1
Experience teaching Ukulele
· Knowledge of the primary curriculum
· A passion for teaching, bringing energy and passion to the classroom, inspiring students to learn and grow.
· The ability to deliver engaging and innovative lessons that captivate students\’ interest and foster a love for learning.
· A degree in Music or be a native speaker.
Strong classroom/behaviour management skills
Excellent Communication skills
Capabilities of forming strong and lasting connections with students and colleagues while making positive contributions to the school community.
Valid enhanced DBS Certification (This can be gained through PPA Cover Ltd if required)
Confidence in their teaching ability.
