PP Graphics are an established Large Format multi sector print provider, servicing the UK market. PP are a part of the Full Circle Group who specialise in the Live Event sector. PP are the largest inhouse provider of print to the Event sector and are looking to expand on this by strengthening the core by investing in people.

PP have taken a very proactive approach to expand the business during these tough times across the industry and the Business Development Manager position is a key step in this growth plan. We are looking for a candidate that can join the team to drive growth, drive change and expand opportunity within the Large Format Sector in the UK.

Overview of the role purpose:

The Graphics Business Development Manager will be responsible to drive new business opportunities across all non expo graphic sectors.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working very closely with Senior management team, identifying and generating new business opportunities for graphic services in agreed market sectors.
  • Ensure proactive sales activity levels are met to build pipeline to achieve targets, including face to face appointments and telephone canvassing, online sales and sector networking groups.
  • Daily/weekly management of personal CRM data entries and reporting process around Forecasting and client development.
  • Working with the team to meet personal and group KPIs, ensuring revenue and profit margins are attained.
  • Proactively engaging with the wider business teams to cross sell and support graphics in non expo sectors.
  • Drive relationship based sales by proactively contacting key clients at appropriate intervals to establish relationships and building a partner status.
  • Preparation and analysis of sales report information for internal communications and reporting to line manager.
  • Taking part in relevant internal / external teleconferences/meetings as required.
  • Successfully managing building and managing relationship with all stakeholders internally & externally.
  • Regular engagement with Acc Mgr and Operational teams to ensure that you are fully aware of available capacity and operational outputs.

Reporting to: Head of Graphics

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven experience of working in Large Format Graphic Sectors (POS – Events - Agency - Local Education and Government – Construction).
  • Track record of successful sales in previous roles.
  • Client facing skills and service delivery focused.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Contract management and negotiation, ability to close deals.
  • Ability to continuously prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder service principles and practices in the Large Format industry.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Lead and promote a continuous improvement process and change culture.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of education to at least A level or equivalent.

Hours: Flexible approach to working shift pattern – 40 core hours.

Location: The role is based Manchester, however can include remote working.

Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package inc. car allowance and discretionary non contractual bonus scheme will be offered depending on experience. Proposed salary £40k +£5k Car allowance or fully expensed company car + commission.

This Role Profile is not exhaustive and the role holder would be expected to undertake any other reasonable duties from time to time allocated to the role.
