Our living sector team designs living accommodation for all facets of the residential sector, working for the full range of public, private and third-sector organisations, ranging from high-rise apartment buildings to low-rise family housing schemes. Our reputation is particularly strong at a national level across the later living sector, designing buildings for care, extra care and retirement.
We are looking for a technically orientated Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist who will be responsible for the preparation of drawings, designs, specifications and schedules to suit design development and information release requirements. In addition, the role will involve assisting with client management and design team co-ordination.
This is a great opportunity for a creative, focused and ambitious individual to join a small team of a successful national practice and be a key technical lead in our Brighton studio. We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and be instrumental in the delivery of schemes.
- Minimum five years post qualification experience, with a proven ability to design in accordance with statutory design requirements.
- Proven strong portfolio of residential and/or later living work.
- Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills.
- Client facing and confident to take a lead role in meetings and presentations.
- Confident, decisive manner to allow programme milestones to be met; strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage education projects through all RIBA stages.
