We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team at our head office in Altrincham. This role is essential in driving the financial health of the business forward by minimising aged debt, reducing debtor days, and improving cash flow. You will be a vital member of a friendly and professional team and have excellent communication skills working closely with all members of the practice.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience of working in a credit control role
- Possesses a 'can-do' attitude with a proactive approach to work
- Can communicate in a professional and confident manner
Responsibilities
- Checking new client credit and monitoring credit risk of existing clients
- Setting up new client accounts and billing terms on the Practice database
- Raising Invoices and Applications
- Maintaining and raising scheduled billing
- Running a daily client receipts report
- Resolving client invoice queries by liaison with Project Managers and Directors
- Producing client statements on a monthly basis and account reconciliation as requested
- Updating Aged Debtors listing for monthly Finance Meeting
- Producing Practice and team aged debt analysis
- Production of month end reports
