As a result of a number of project wins across the country, we are expanding the technical capability of our education team and now require a number of Architectural Technologists.
Our education team is a specialist in its field, having built an enviable reputation within the industry for the design of primary, secondary, further and higher education facilities.
The Architectural Technologists will be responsible for the preparation of drawings, designs, specifications and schedules to suit design development and information release requirements.
In addition, the role will involve assisting with client management and design team co-ordination.
A confident, decisive manner is essential to allow programme milestones to be met, in addition to strong communication skills and proven project running experience.
This is a great opportunity for a creative, focused and ambitious individual who want to make a real impact within a successful national practice.
We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and be instrumental in the delivery of schemes.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum five years post qualification experience, with a proven ability to design in accordance with statutory design requirements.
- Proven strong portfolio of education work.
- Excellent Revit and Auto CAD skills.
- Client facing and confident to take a lead role in meetings and presentations.
- Ability to manage education projects through all RIBA stages.
- Proven project running experience.
- Preferable Requirements
- Knowledge of DFE working practices.
- Experience in primary and secondary school design.
