An exciting opportunity has arisen within Powys Teaching Health Board's Outpatients department for Planned Care for a registered nurse. Are you a registered nurse looking for a new challenge? The Outpatients department in Ystradgynlais Community Hospital is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated registered nurse to join the department. You will work, as part of a team as well as independently, to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for patients and all service users within the Outpatients department.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
- Participate and contribute to the wider clinical governance agenda, including service developments.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of patients.
- Evaluate assigned patients within an outpatient facility or clinic, determine the appropriate equipment needed, make preparations and assist physicians during examinations.
- Perform various patient tests.
- Administer medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
