We require caring and enthusiastic individuals to work part time as Support Services Assistant within the Domestic team. 30-hour post available working Monday to Sunday. This post will be based at Brecon Hospital. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. There will be the expectation, when required, to clean in other departments. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Main duties of the job: You will support the local delivery of hotel services domestic and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Person Specification:
- Experience: To have gained sufficient experience in the cleaning industry to be able to demonstrate an understanding of safe working practices and techniques that would meet the requirements within this role.
- Aptitude and Ability: To be able to perform independently or as part of a team whilst demonstrating the values and behaviours expected of the organisation. To be able to follow instructions and organise own work to meet the team objectives, adapting work to meet any changing priorities which may need to meet tight timeframes. Some ability to speak, read and/or write Welsh, or an eagerness to learn.
- Values: Able to demonstrate the essential values and commitment required to delivering a high quality service for patients and staff.
- Other: Ability to travel within geographical area. Able to work hours flexibly.
- Qualifications and/or knowledge: Literacy and numeracy level 1.
