Support the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team in the implementation of support for schools, to support children and young people with low level mental health and emotional problems such as anxiety and low mood. Under the supervision and direction of the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team Lead or Practitioners, deliver developmentally appropriate, and evidence-based early intervention and low threshold group interventions and activities within a variety of settings for children. This would be with direction of the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team Lead and Practitioners after developing a plan following consultation with a school.

Deliver approved training to relevant staff across the Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) area including those within Primary Care and education to build skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Under supervision and direction, deliver developmentally appropriate, evidence-based early intervention and low-threshold group interventions and activities for children in a variety of settings.
  • Develop and implement plans following consultation with a school, with direction from the Powys CAMHS School In-Reach Team Lead and Practitioners.
  • Deliver approved training to relevant staff across the Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) area, including those within Primary Care and education, to build skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary environment and work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and partner agencies.
