Are you looking for a new challenge and to join a health board that can support you and accelerate your career in physiotherapy? You could be an important part of a physiotherapy team whose vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Powys. We are ambitious and aspire to supporting the health board's vision in being leaders in integrated rural health and care.

Powys THB provides services in a rural setting, creating opportunities to be autonomous practitioners, develop leadership skills, and create innovative ideas to deliver care within the community and close to patients' homes. You will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, a flexible approach to work, and negotiation skills to motivate patients and staff to deliver high standards of care.

You will work closely as part of an MDT within PTHB and have the opportunity to work with clinical specialists in different service areas to develop a wide range of skills. The role will also include supervision, teaching, and the development of band 3/4 support workers. You will play an active part in an ongoing in-service training and clinical supervision programme to support your own development and others.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our South locality physiotherapy teams which support our community hospitals in Brecon, Bronllys, and Ystradgynlais. We are looking for a person who wants to work within motivated and enthusiastic teams whose priority is to provide rehabilitation and support to Powys residents in Outpatient, Inpatient, and community services. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in MSK, Neurological Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation, and Elderly Care.

Everybody at Powys Teaching Health Board is valued for the contribution they make to our varied and diverse portfolio of community-based services.
