The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This post is fixed term/secondment until 31/03/2027 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive clerical, administrative and secretarial support service to all parts of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The post holder needs to work autonomously for the majority of the time, but be able to seek advice when necessary as well as work with colleagues in the administration team to support the service and deliver against business priorities in a timely manner.

The post holder will need to be able to communicate and exchange complex, sensitive information across the organisation both internally and externally, using tact and persuasive skills. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, prioritise work, and deal with competing demands and interruptions.

The post holder will establish strong links with colleagues across the Health Board and with those providing services to patients both in and outside Powys. They will be responsible for organising meetings, preparing papers, and taking minutes. The post holder will undertake reception duties as required.

Main duties of the job:

  • Provide a range of clerical and secretarial services as directed.
  • Manage the diary and appointment schedule of managers as required, utilising diary time effectively.
  • Provide support and cross cover within the department to ensure a continuous administrative service.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, dealing with routine items and action reminders as instructed.

Powys Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) covers both Primary Mental Health and Specialist CAMHS functions through one service.
