An exciting opportunity to join the Wellbeing Team and make a contribution to the next stage of improvement of a forward-thinking school. Ysgol Maesydderwen is situated in beautiful south Powys, the catchment area of which includes part of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Waterfall Country. Ideally situated in the small town of Ystradgynlais, the school is within easy reach of Cardiff, Swansea and South-West Wales.

The Governors are looking to appoint a Grade 6 Learning Coach, to provide maternity cover and to join our highly effective and committed Wellbeing team. Starting in March, we are looking to appoint a well-organised and efficient person who is able to assist and support the learning of learners or groups of learners and assist in providing general care, safety and welfare of learners. A commitment to help all young people and staff to achieve their best and a shared belief in our inclusive ethos is expected of all staff.
