This role will provide day to day oversight and delivery on maintaining and improving the councils' financial systems. The role will focus on improving processes and implementing change so efficiencies can be driven through the service.
About you:
We are looking for an accountant who not only enjoys working with systems but is motivated and driven by the need to improve and change processes and behaviours across the finance team. They must be able to work on their own initiative, but mindful for the deadlines and need to keep the systems working effectively so the activities are maintained.
What you will do:
Deliver and oversee day to day systems routines but look at how these can be streamlined. Consider the stakeholder in what we currently do and what we could improve that they will benefit from and drive through change.
