About the role
As part of a new Education Planning & Resources Service within the Education Directorate, this role is key in supporting the delivery of the Transforming Education Programme. You will support the Programme Manager, Programme Lead and SRO with programme management arrangements for the Transforming Education Programme, ensuring effective programme management arrangements are in place, to ensure the programme meets the requirements of the Council’s Transformation Portfolio. This will include preparation of regular reports on the status of activities across the Programme, project planning, risk management, benefits management, communications and oversight of the budget allocated to the Programme.

What you will do
- Support the Programme Manager, Programme Lead and SRO with programme management arrangements for the Transforming Education Programme.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of activities across the Programme.
- Engage in project planning, risk management, benefits management, communications and oversight of the budget allocated to the Programme.
- Compile programme documentation such as project plans, monthly and quarterly reports, risk management, benefits realisation.
- Ensure effective programme governance arrangements by managing the Transforming Education Programme Board.
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check.
