About the role: To provide a comprehensive, discreet, high quality professional and reliable support service to the Chief Executive, Leader of the Council, Cabinet, Committees and Members to effectively manage their meetings in line with the Council’s Constitution and Work Plans.

About you: You will have experience of taking complex, accurate minutes and producing agendas. You will be able to work to strict deadlines as part of a small team and under your own initiative. Ideally you will have experience of working with elected councillors and members of the public. You will be able to handle high pressure situations and give advice to councillors in a public setting.

What you will do: You will be responsible for clerking the Planning, Taxi Licensing and Rights of Way Committee, the Democratic Services Committee and the Standards Committee. You will support the Development Programme, assist Councillors with their online training and keep up to date records of their training. This position has a requirement for a Standard DBS Check.
