Provide a front‑line cleaning service in line with Powys Council policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of work in the specified area within a PCC premise.

Responsibilities

• Clean floor areas by vacuuming, machine polishing, machine scrubbing, wet/dry sweeping and mopping.
• Clean furniture, work surfaces, toilet areas, W.C. pans, urinals, hand basins, mirrors, and replenish toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap.
• Empty and clean waste/recycling bins, replenish litter bin bags, and remove waste to the compound.
• Remove dirty marks from walls, doors, and internal windows up to head height.
• Perform high‑level cleaning using extending equipment.
• Maintain a good standard of work by reporting damaged or broken items to the caretaker and reporting blocked drains.
• Observe health and safety standards, correct use of chemicals, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend relevant training as required.
• Possess the required Enhanced DBS Check.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete stock records, timesheets, etc.
• Literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to attend training and develop professionally.
