The purpose of the role is to assist the Educational Psychology team in delivering an Educational Psychology service for the children, young people and their settings., Supporting and contributing to the role of the Educational Psychologist (EP) in providing a high quality, person centred and sustainable educational psychology service to schools and settings in Powys.
To carry out observation in settings, with the permission of the child\βs parent/s.
To complete checklists of child development, with guidance from an EP.
To gather and collate information for consultations by an EP.
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of professional training sessions facilitated by EPs.
To be a good team player with a high level of interpersonal skills.
A commitment to collaborative working.
An ability to adapt to the demands of independent work, working under supervision and as part of a team as required.
