As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our collaborative and ambitious team based in Manchester. The role will be hybrid with travel to our Manchester office required.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the marketing strategy developed by the Head of Marketing, supporting the achievement of business objectives, and elevating brand visibility. This role will lead the implementation of campaigns across multiple channels, coordinate company events, manage the company’s digital presence, and collaborate cross-functionally, especially with the Sales and Product teams.
What You Will Be Doing
POWWR is looking for a mid-level Marketing Manager to join the Commercial team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with hands-on experience across CRM systems, website CMS management, social media platforms and event management.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns in alignment with the annual marketing plan and sales objectives.
- Build, launch, and optimise digital campaigns across social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), email, and paid channels (Google, SEO, PPC etc).
- Write creative, engaging posts and campaign content, amplifying brand interest and campaigns across platforms.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign KPIs and overall marketing effectiveness, using platforms such as Google Analytics and HubSpot.
- Identify learnings from campaign data to inform future planning and optimisation.
- Ensure the company website is up-to-date, functional, and visually appealing; oversee site optimisation efforts.
- Contribute to the company’s blogging and content marketing strategy, including idea generation and content creation.
- Maintain daily oversight of company social media accounts, responding to and engaging with audiences in a timely and effective manner.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to maintain an up-to-date content calendar aligned with broader communication and business objectives.
Event Management
- Organise and manage POWWR’s participation in conferences, trade shows, hosted events, and corporate hospitality activities.
- Lead pre-event marketing, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up activities, including travel as required.
- Manage event logistics, promotion, and supporting material to ensure successful execution and brand representation.
Product Launch Support and Branding
- Collaborate with the Product team on new product launches, ensuring messaging, assets, and campaigns are aligned across all digital channels.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on creative, messaging, and performance.
- Oversee the production, inventory, and distribution of branded merchandise, event collateral, and print materials.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all marketing assets.
Lead Management, CRM and Cross-functional Collaboration
- Distribute and track leads generated via digital channels to support the sales team’s effectiveness.
- Manage digital data within our HubSpot CRM platform, ensuring data integrity and adherence to data protection policies.
- Liaise with external agencies (including PR and graphic design) for ad management and media outreach.
- Support Account Management and key commercial stakeholders with promotional activity and client retention initiatives.
- Maintain productive relationships with suppliers and external partners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience managing ROI-driven digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing field.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally - including with sales, product, and marketing colleagues.
- Experience managing and analysing large amounts of data; strong attention to detail.
- High level of proficiency with marketing tools and platforms: HubSpot, LinkedIn, Livestorm, Microsoft suite, Trello, Canva, Google Analytics etc.
- Excellent copywriting and creative skills.
- Previous experience executing product launches and running corporate events.
- Experience with employee advocacy programs.
- Experience in both the energy and software sectors.
- Membership of CIM (or equivalent professional body).
