Our Woodland Nursery, inspired by hygge and set within eight acres of leafy Wilmslow countryside, offers babies and toddlers a warm, nature-rich environment where curiosity, comfort and care go hand in hand.
We are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team, working primarily with children aged 0β2 years. This is a wonderful opportunity to nurture the youngest members of our school community, helping them to feel safe, secure and ready to explore the world around them.
The role includes:
- Acting as a key person for a small group of children, building strong bonds with them and their families.
- Creating a calm, nurturing space indoors, while making full use of your own dedicated outdoor space, plus further facilities including our woodland, gardens and outdoor learning areas.
- Working with colleagues and visiting specialists (including music, yoga, French and Forest School) to provide a rich and varied nursery experience.
- Supporting each childβs personal, social and emotional development, while laying the earliest foundations for learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
- Has experience of caring for children aged 0β2 and a genuine love of working with babies and toddlers.
- Is warm, patient and positive, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Brings energy, flexibility and joy to their role every day.
Salary and benefits:
- Full-time across 4 days per week, all year round with 6 weeks annual leave.
