We are looking for an experienced RVN with a kind and compassionate approach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate about patient and client care and share in our values. This is a full-time position, working 32-40 hours per week over 4/5 days. Saturdays are worked on a rota basis and there are no Sundays or on call requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Nurse Consultations
- Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures and examinations
- Monitoring and care for animals during and post-surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct routine diagnostic tests, including blood samples, urine analysis, and radiography
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients using our practice management software
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
- Educate and advise pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and post-treatment care
- Keep the clinic clean and organised
