At PowerTutors UK, we are looking for experienced and passionate SEN Tutors and Learning Support Tutors to join our team. Even if you do not hold a QTS or PGCE, your hands-on experience with children can have a real impact. We provide a safe, supportive environment where children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can truly flourish.
Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor /Learning Support Tutor:
- Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions adapted to each student's learning style.
- Ensure a safe, supportive learning environment following safeguarding best practices.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and PowerTutors staff to tailor each session for success.
- Support neurodiverse learners, including students with SEND, to develop skills and confidence.
We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with SEND students (QTS/PGCE is a bonus but not required).
- Passion for education, patience, and understanding of neurodiverse needs.
- A reliable and compassionate approach to tutoring and student well-being.
- Enhanced DBS check (update service preferred) and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Commitment to consistency; your SEND students rely on dependable support to thrive.
