ABOUT THE ROLE

We have learners who need you - right now. Across Woking and Surrounding Areas, we're placing SEND tutors with children and young people on EHCPs who can't wait any longer for the right support. Every placement is fully managed and EHCP-aligned. You'll receive a full briefing before your first session, so you know exactly what to expect and your learner gets consistency from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL BE TEACHING

  • Either Maths & English at Primary or Secondary level
  • GCSE preparation
  • EYFS play-based learning
  • Core Curriculum
  • Post-16 Functional Skills and/or independence support

LEARNER NEEDS

They may have ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, physical disabilities, complex profiles requiring trauma-informed or demand-avoidance-aware approaches.

FLEXIBLE COMMITMENT β€” YOU CHOOSE

From focused specialist sessions to fuller weekly provision β€” pick what works for you:

  • Specialist support: from 2–3 hrs/week for targeted 1:1 intervention
  • Part-time: 4–8 hrs/week across one or two learners
  • Full provision: up to 15 hrs/week with a dedicated learner

YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with SEND learners (specialist background preferred)
  • Confidence with complex, multi-need profiles
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed or low-demand (PDA) approaches
  • A base anywhere across PO, SO or SP postcodes
