About the Company

Powertutors are seeking Tutors for specialist SEND children who need support with their learning and are not currently provisioned in school. Many of our students are unable to attend mainstream schools and although our aim is to support re-integration, all classes are adapted for the student you support.

About the Role

We offer tuition during school hours and term time, usually up to 15 hours per week - this may vary - and during term time. We cover all subject areas, often with the focus on maths and English, utilising the interests of our students to assist them in their learning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support for SEND children.
  • Adapt classes to meet individual student needs.
  • Focus on core subjects, particularly maths and English.
