About the Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will deliver personalised tuition to children with additional learning needs, helping them develop academically while building confidence and independence.
- Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner's individual needs
- Plan and adapt lessons in line with individual learning goals and EHCPs where appropriate
- Support children who are unable to attend or access mainstream education
- Monitor learner progress and adapt teaching methods to maximise outcomes
- Build positive relationships with learners, families and relevant professionals
- Encourage confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning
About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic education professionals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them reach their full potential.
- Experience supporting children or young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia or other additional learning needs
- Ability to tailor teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate and committed to delivering outstanding learner support
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), previous tutoring experience or relevant educational experience is desirable but not essential
- A proactive approach with excellent organisational and time management skills
