Excellent opportunity for an experienced Automatic Transmission Rebuild Technician with a background in either transmission remanufacture or hydraulics. Due to an expanding customer base, we are looking to recruit a skilled, apprentice trained, Automatic Transmission Technician, who is able to work on their own initiative and enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated engineering team. As an Automatic Transmission Technician, you will work in a modern and busy engineering environment within our National Service Centre, which is located in Willenhall.
Responsibilities
- Dismantling of transmissions
- Inspecting transmissions, recording all damage and evidence of wear & tear
- Preparation & Reassembly of transmission components/sub-assemblies
- Accurately complete required documentation for each job
- Ensuring company procedures and policies are followed
- Communicating effectively in a professional manner with your colleagues and across the business
- Adhering to Health and Safety requirements at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Apprentice trained
- Hydraulics experience
- Extensive experience in transmission building
- An eye for detail
- Be able to work to the highest possible standards
