We are seeking a Trade Counter Sales Executive to join our team. Would suit someone who has worked in trade counter or parts counter previously.
The candidate will possess a demonstrated background in Professional Powertool and accessory sales or have experience using part numbers, coupled with strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Responsibilities:- Advising customers on the range and appropriateness of professional grade powertools.
- Adding & optimising products on the new stock control system.
- Work alongside other team members to ensure the website product data is accurate.
- Supporting the wider team by helping with general IT/technical jobs.
- Driving a commercial vehicle as and when required to support the wider business needs.
- Working within the warehouse to receive, store and log merchandise as well as picking and packing to ship orders.
- Everyone is expected to chip-in where necessary, so the role is not limited to sales counter.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Must have a good/high standard of spelling and grammar.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- You MUST have a high standard of existing knowledge in the application of tools and uses or be willing to learn.
- You must be physically capable of working within a warehouse environment, you must not have a fear of heights and must be capable of handling heavy lifting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- There will be the two primary software systems you will be expected to use on a daily basis, as well as other 3rd party tools where applicable. Training will be given.
Please note the business will be relocating to Barnsley. This is anticipated to be in the next 24 months, you should therefore be prepared to move employment to the new premises.
