We are looking for a talented Parts Specialist to join our Service team based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

Location & Hours: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (30mins lunch).

Role Overview: This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where you’ll ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time, keeping our technicians productive and our customers’ equipment running. Working closely with the workshop, suppliers, and service teams, you’ll take ownership of the parts process from start to finish.

Impact:

  • Supplying parts daily to support workshop activity (overhauls, repairs, modifications).
  • Tracking parts through the supply chain and providing updates on delivery and return times.
  • Communicating any changes or delays clearly with Service Admins and Team Leaders.
  • Managing the operational side of procurement, ensuring jobs are released with the correct parts available.
  • Supporting urgent requirements, including local collections and deliveries when needed.
  • Ensuring parts are delivered to the correct technician or work bay on time.
  • Processing core returns, warranty parts, and service returns efficiently.
  • Tracking engines and coordinating collections where required.
  • Raising and managing NCRs, working with internal teams to drive resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate effectively between planning, suppliers, and the workshop in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to proactively manage issues, prevent delays, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and drive solutions.
  • The ability to thrive at the centre of a busy operation while working collaboratively within an inclusive and supportive team.

Education / Experience:

  • Warehouse/stocking – identifying part and diesel engine knowledge would be desired.
  • Be prepared to drive a forklift (with a current license or willingness to obtain one, training will be provided).
  • Proficient in SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on‑the‑job experience.

Compensation: The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionised agreement.
