Introduction to the team Travel Partnerships and Advertising help partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, valued advertising and travel media networks, and affiliate solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Senior Licensing Operations and Reconciliation Specialist. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy and compliance across airline financial processes, with a strong focus on BSP and ARC settlement and reconciliation.

Make an Impact! The Senior Licensing Operations and Reconciliation Specialist role is part of the Air Revenue Governance team within the Travel Partnerships and Media (TPA) division at Expedia Group. This team provides day-to-day operational support to key industry partners and internal stakeholders, managing all aspects of revenue governance through settlement, reconciliation, and audit processes. In this role, your technical expertise and passion for air operations will be essential in enhancing the experience for both travelers and travel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee licensing operations and reconciliation processes for air transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with BSP and ARC standards and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain accurate reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance automation, accuracy, and scalability within reconciliation workflows.

Experience and qualifications

  • Airline industry knowledge with hands-on experience in BSP or ARC processes. Ideally 6+ years, but key transferable skills would be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and reconcile large volumes of data.
  • Ability to coach/mentor peers and support the team manager.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • A smart self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and articulate findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial systems and reconciliation tools.
  • Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) and airline settlement processes.
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills.
