Senior Workforce Analyst (Open) - 12month FTC

As a Senior Analyst, you will handle modeling forecasts, discovering insights, and finding opportunities through the use of statistical, data mining and visualization techniques.

Your role will include collaborating with internal partners and transverse teams to analyze forecast variances, understanding and mitigating variance drivers, finding opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, and delivering against high organizational standards.

This is a high impact and visibility role with meaningful interaction with senior leadership and with goals that directly impact the bottom line of the business.

In this role you will

  • Provide data-driven recommendations across multiple business lines, partnering with business stakeholders, finance teams, and vendor managers to build a thorough understanding of workstreams and key performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain demand, workload, and staffing forecast models based on historical data.
  • Maintain historical data hygiene as well as proactively adjusting forecast models to account for changes in processes and metrics.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Make recommendations to reduce workload and improve productivity for partner teams.
  • Supervise and track the results of recommendations.
  • Analyze for potential risks in staffing levels and develop/implement plans to aid the operation in mitigating the risks as needed.
  • Utilize system reporting tools to analyze current business processes and to support continuous process improvements.
  • Find opportunities for improvement through data - setting targets, understanding drivers, assessing performance, and modelling scenarios.
  • Present results back to the business in a structured, data-driven manner - simplifying complicated concepts for non-technical public.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive process documentation, workflows, and detailed work instructions for our services.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Have previous planning or forecasting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and competence in use of analytical tools: SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.

Experience with one or more of the statistical modeling languages/toolboxes such as R, SAS, or Python is a plus.

  • Analytical Mindset - a problem solving approach that gets to the underlying business questions in using a variety of data sources.
  • Partner Partnership - analytical resourcefulness and leadership, coupled with proven cross-functional partnership.
  • Comfortable creating strategic recommendations and obtaining organizational approval at senior levels.
  • Effective communicator - build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.
  • Flexible approach - tailor experienced knowledge to meet specific circumstance.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
