Job Summary: Performs highly skilled non‑production activities independently supporting manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment. Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE): Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards; report any work‑related injury, illness, incident or hazard; comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations; use appropriate personal protective equipment; promote interdependence; correct hazards within control; recognize work impact on the environment and minimize negative impact; engage in HSE training.
- Quality: Follow and help others apply all applicable standard work, policies and procedures; raise quality concerns and support problem solving to minimize cost and exposures; actively search for improvement opportunities and implement workable solutions; utilize formal problem‑solving tools and techniques.
- Delivery: Be fully proficient with all work processes and work independently with company resources to meet customer expectations; develop projects that support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, safety, process and employee development; lead and coordinate others as a formal resource for team members with less capability; maintain clean and orderly work area; facilitate and apply Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology throughout the plant; remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experienced in creating shift end reports and spreadsheets; strong communication skills and ability to work well with teams across multiple departments to ensure tasks and objectives are complete effectively and professionally.
