We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing Technical Integrations division within Professional Services. Come join us in this fast‐paced environment as we build the future of Thomson Reuters' technology infrastructure using modern solutions.

About the role

In this opportunity, as a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Support and guide customers through the installation, configuration, and testing of data integrations;
  • Use Java/SQL to customize existing interfaces as needed;
  • Perform detailed analysis of customer integrations (field mapping) to support the entire implementation lifecycle (design/creation through production support);
  • Work closely with other functional consultants, as well as the Product, Technology, and Customer Support teams to ensure continuing functionality of existing integrations;
  • Support the Sales and Customer Success teams by translating technical requirements for a non‐technical audience.
About You

You are a good fit for the Software Engineer role if you have:

  • Fluent English;
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology program (preferred);
  • 2 to 3 years of experience creating integrations and performing ETL work;
  • Experience with process analysis, design, field mapping, configuration, and implementation;
  • Ability to support relevant stakeholders by effectively communicating and answering questions to both technical and non‐technical audiences;
  • Excellent debugging skills;
  • Experience with SOAP services using XML payload;
  • Experience in software engineering with Java, .NET, and SQL;
  • Experience with major identity providers such as ForgeRock, Ping, and Okta;
  • Experience with REST API development with a security emphasis, including OAuth2, UMA, OIDC, or SAML.
Other preferred qualifications
  • Experience in global trade or supply chain business, indirect taxes, compliance, and/or tax filing/reporting processes;
  • Experience in process analysis, design, and process mapping;
  • Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
