Thomson Reuters is seeking a highly motivated ONESOURCE Senior Technical Implementation Consultant (ERP) with handsâon experience implementing SAP and/or SAP financial addâons. In this clientâfacing role, you will collaborate with ONESOURCE Project Managers and subjectâmatter experts to design, configure, and deploy ONESOURCE integration software - providing domain expertise in tax scenarios and integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax with SAP ERP, ecommerce, and POS environments. You will work endâtoâend with project teams to gather and define business requirements, translate them into robust, scalable solutions, and deliver highâquality implementations across a diverse range of industries and operating models.
About the Role
- Serve as a primary interface with client tax professionals.
- Lead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation for Integration.
- Assist in the analysis and delivery of SAP integration implementations that reflect an inâdepth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process.
- Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end to end Indirect integration solutions.
- Explain ONESOURCE Integration for SAP related issues/problems and solutions to nonâtax & technical staff.
- Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutions.
- Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for SAP.
- Execute personal working within a controlled project management environment.
- Work with Preâsales on prospects and bid development.
- Work with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementation.
About You
- 5+ years of work experience working with SAP.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Technical experience implementing SAP and/or Addâon Solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple addâons are installed.
- Skills in troubleshooting and resolving SAP system issues.
- Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and reâengineering.
- Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Working in the SAP application.
- ABAP Programming capabilities.
- Knowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), xml.
- Up to 10% of travel is expected.
Desirable Skills
- Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within SAP.
- Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desirable.
- Financial work experience or related degree.
- Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others.
- Create and execute unit testing ensuring software meets requirements.
- Object Oriented Programming.
- SAP Certification.
- Higher Education Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science.
