Dassault Systèmes is a global leader in industrial AI and digital transformation, helping businesses virtualize products, organizations, and business models to drive sustainable innovation and measurable impact. Our solutions empower companies and people to imagine and deliver innovations that harmonize products, nature, and life. Through 3D UNIV+RSES, Dassault Systèmes is shaping the Generative Economy by using Virtual Twins of assets, organizations, and businesses to help enterprises manage complexity, unlock innovation, and achieve exceptional performance.
The Infrastructure, Energy & Materials (IE&M) Industry team is grounded in industry expertise, market insights, and real customer experience, and is accountable for shaping new offers, opening new markets, and accelerating pipeline generation. Looking toward 2026 and beyond, our ambition is to create and scale a high-impact role for Dassault Systèmes, shaping how we engage in large capital projects as a trusted Innovation and Digital Partner. At the core of this mission is the Virtual Twin foundation, which helps programs manage risk, improve system performance, and create long-term value across ecosystems.
Role & Responsibilities
To achieve these goals, we are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join the UK region, covering key asset intensive sectors such as civil transportation infrastructure (with a focus on rail infrastructure), clean energy producers (spanning nuclear new-build, renewables, and cleantechs), and process industries (green metals and critical minerals mining). You will:
- Accelerate growth across capital intensive environments by combining immediate revenue generation with long term market expansion.
- Deliver “quick wins” by identifying and opening qualified opportunities where Industry Process Experiences (IPE) and packaged solutions create rapid, measurable customer value.
- Contribute to mid and long term growth by shaping strategic innovation pathways with key industry players—establishing partnerships, securing first of a kind deployments, and positioning Dassault Systèmes as a long term transformation partner across major capital programs and industrial transitions.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, proactivity, and industry knowledge. You’ll leverage an established network, expertise in asset intensive sectors, and a strong understanding of large project dynamics to shape opportunities and deliver impact. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging directly with asset owners, operators, and global general contractors to demonstrate how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Virtual Twin Experiences enhance program execution and improve asset lifecycle performance.
- Initiating and developing strategic, high impact collaborations that help establish new industry standards.
- Transforming large scale capital programs into structured, recurring, high revenue business opportunities.
Qualifications / Experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical or industry background.
- 15+ years experience in asset intensive or asset heavy industries and proven experience in business development, strategic capture, or partnership leadership roles with the ability to originate, shape, and secure high value engagements.
- Established and trusted network across asset owners, operators, global general contractors, and the broader industrial ecosystem, enabling executive level engagement and partnership development.
- Deep understanding of large capital project delivery, asset lifecycle management, and the strategic drivers influencing investment, performance, and transformation.
- Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders, navigate complex decision processes, and position differentiated value propositions that drive long term business impact.
- Strong cross functional leadership and influence, mobilizing internal teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to secure and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
What’s in it for you
- An international and diverse working environment.
