About the Role

This full time position will be based in our office in London. Are you highly organised? Enjoy working in a fast‐paced environment where no two days are the same? Looking to take your Event Management career to the next level? If so, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for a collaborative, confident and ambitious Event Manager to join the Operations Team at Reuters Events in London and help us organise a busy portfolio of virtual and physical international events.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully plan and manage the end‐to‐end logistics for a high volume of annual conferences and events in a variety of formats (in‐person, hybrid & virtual).
  • Research and source venues, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Plan and book travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Play an instrumental role in the negotiation of budgets and contracts to ensure we’re delivering a great quality service whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to bring the events to life and ensure their commercial success.
  • Travel to and supervise the on‐the‐day running of the events.

About You

  • Demonstrable experience of managing B2B conferences and exhibitions.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, work efficiently and juggle competing priorities.
  • Experience of managing budgets and reporting on event expenditure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the professionalism and confidence to liaise with senior level industry contacts.
