About the Role

Weâre looking for a collaborative, confident and ambitious Event Manager to join the Operations Team at Reuters Events in London and help us organise a busy portfolio of virtual and physical international events.
Responsibilities
- Successfully plan and manage the endâtoâend logistics for a high volume of annual conferences and events in a variety of formats (inâperson, hybrid & virtual).
- Research and source venues, suppliers, and contractors.
- Plan and book travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Play an instrumental role in the negotiation of budgets and contracts to ensure weâre delivering a great quality service whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to bring the events to life and ensure their commercial success.
- Travel to and supervise the onâtheâday running of the events.
About You
- Demonstrable experience of managing B2B conferences and exhibitions.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, work efficiently and juggle competing priorities.
- Experience of managing budgets and reporting on event expenditure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the professionalism and confidence to liaise with senior level industry contacts.
