About the Role
- Own and deliver The Insurer’s short‑, medium‑ and long‑term commercial strategy, aligned with Reuters Professional objectives.
- Be accountable for overall revenue performance across new business, renewals, upselling and cross‑selling.
- Lead, develop and coach the commercial team, including Senior Sales Managers, ensuring a consistent consultative, solution‑based sales approach.
- Set revenue targets, budgets and forecasts, ensuring strong pipeline management and CRM discipline across the team.
- Act as the senior commercial point of escalation for key accounts and strategic client relationships.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the global insurance value chain.
- Work closely with editorial, product, marketing and technology teams to shape compelling commercial propositions and pricing strategies.

- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate credibly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of managing complex client relationships in trust‑based industries.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategy while remaining close to execution and deal delivery.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting capability.
