The SMBF Production Management team provides critical business and technical support across Securities Markets, Banking, and Functions (SMBF), working collaboratively to ensure our platforms and services operate seamlessly for our clients—whenever and wherever they need them. Citi Wholesale Lending is executing a multi‑year modernization initiative to upgrade global platforms supporting Agency, Non‑Agency, and Bi‑lateral lending activities. A core component of this strategy is the migration to the LoanIQ platform and decommissioning of legacy systems. To support this transformation and ongoing business operations, Citi is seeking a LoanIQ Product Expert who possesses deep LoanIQ product expertise, strong understanding of end‑to‑end lending workflows, and the ability to partner closely with Operations, Technology, and Vendor teams to ensure accurate, stable, and compliant platform performance.
The Loan IQ Production Support Specialist will be pivotal in providing subject matter expertise level knowledge of Loan IQ to the continuous operation and maintenance of our Loan IQ Application. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how multiple lending and technology disciplines interact to achieve business objectives. The senior analyst applies deep functional knowledge of LoanIQ, strong commercial awareness, to deliver a full range of production services across regions. This position is part of the Data Solutions Production Management team, based in London, UK. You will contribute to a globally distributed team spanning Pune, Sydney, NYC Metro and Irving, collectively providing 24/7 support for our enterprise-critical applications. Success in this role requires close collaboration with Level 1 Support, Application Development, Infrastructure teams, Operations and Product Owners.
Responsibilities
- Act as LoanIQ SME for complex loan structures, lifecycle events, GL behavior, interest and fee events, and cash‑flow processing.
- Provide expert guidance on LoanIQ configuration, including lender share changes, restructures, payment events, GL mapping, and upstream / downstream integrations.
- Participate in LoanIQ releases, patches, hotfixes, and enhancements to ensure end‑to‑end operational readiness.
- Conduct impact assessments, drive functional triage, and oversee remediation of product‑related issues.
- Mentor and develop peer talent; create knowledge‑sharing, training materials, and capability‑building programs.
- Serve as the functional liaison between Operations, Technology, and Vendor partners for all LoanIQ‑related matters.
- Translate production issues into functional enhancements and advise on long‑term product improvements.
- Act as the issue owner in discussions with Finastra regarding defects, enhancements, and product roadmap alignment.
- Work with BA and Product teams to prioritize product fixes and improvements based on risk, client impact, and strategic relevance.
- Perform other duties and functions assigned.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications
- Relevant hands‑on experience with LoanIQ including deep functional expertise across multiple modules.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Finastra or similar vendors on defects, enhancements, and roadmap discussions.
- Strong understanding of wholesale lending operations, credit structures, and lifecycle processing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex functional concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in incident analysis and change management.
- Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams.
- Strong ability to plan and organize workload effectively.
- Background in operational controls, data quality, or platform stability.
- Some knowledge of SQL (Oracle dialect is preferable).

- Bachelor’s/University degree required.
