We are seeking a senior leader to join Credit Operations as Global Head of Credit Financing Operations, reporting directly to the Global Head of ISG Fixed Income Credit Operations. This role will lead the global operational function supporting securities financing transactions, including repo, securities lending, and margin financing. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle, drive transformation, and ensure a best-in-class control environment, while partnering closely with Front Office, Technology, and Infrastructure teams. A key priority for this role is to drive the strategic modernization of the Credit Financing platform, enabling scalability, automation, and operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Provide global leadership of the Credit Financing Operations function across EMEA, Americas, and Asia.
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Credit Financing Operations, aligned to business growth and transformation priorities.
- Act as a culture carrier and role model, embedding the Firm's core values and driving a high-performance environment.
- Own financial and resource planning, ensuring efficient deployment against strategic objectives.
- Business & Client Partnership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trading, Sales, and key infrastructure partners.
- Represent Operations in senior governance forums and drive alignment with business unit priorities.
- Engage with external clients, counterparties, and market participants as required.
- Product & Operational Oversight
- Oversee the operational lifecycle of repo, securities lending, and margin financing transactions.
- Ensure robust management of collateral, margin, settlement, and lifecycle events.
- Maintain high standards of operational excellence across trade support, settlements, and exception management.
- Transformation & Change
- Provide subject matter expertise to support legacy platform modernization and architecture design.
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives, including process mapping and simplification, requirements definition and system design, testing and implementation of new platforms.
- Drive automation, scalability, and efficiency improvements across the operating model.
- Partner with Technology to shape the future-state operating architecture.
- Risk Management & Controls
- Establish and maintain a robust risk and control framework across all activities.
- Proactively identify, escape, and remediate operational risks and issues with urgency.
- Develop contingency plans to support business resilience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and internal governance standards.
Experience & Expertise
- Significant experience in securities financing operations (repo, securities lending, margin financing) or similar domain.
- Proven track record in leadership roles within Operations or Middle Office.
- Strong technical understanding of financing products and post-trade architecture.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
