We are looking for an enthusiastic Credit Risk Placement Student to join our team specializing in Finance for our Power Systems Business Segment in UK, Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Performs credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts, mitigating risk to the business and analyses credit exposures; support for the scope and completion of improvement projects (including 6 Sigma framework).
  • Prepares business unit credit reporting, planning, and forecasting and ensures credit activities are in line with corporate credit policies and are Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliant.
  • Develops an understanding of trade finance and credit management to support the business, participates in working capital initiatives to drive corporate metrics.
  • Active involvement and business partner support, prepares metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports to the business unit.
  • Represent the function when required to do so either with other parts of the organization or at various functions or events.

Qualifications

  • Studying towards a degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics or Business discipline.
  • Fast learner and willing to take on new challenges, great attention to detail.
  • Strong team-work skills, great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good Excel skills.
