About the Role
- As a Business Development Manager at Reuters Events you will report to the Head of Sales for Healthcare and Pharma.
- As an individual contributor, you won’t have management responsibility and will drive revenue across the pharma portfolio as lead seller.
- Work collaboratively with other executives across the Pharmaceuticals portfolio, selling tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global brands.
- Use your great command of the written word to gauge what our clients actually need, communicating value propositions tailored to their business goals.
- Be curious around changes in business markets.
- Work closely and collaborate with our Conference Production team to establish the best audiences and maximize the success of our conferences and events.
About You
- Demonstrable experience of selling sponsorship packages in the events industry.
- The commercial acumen to partner with new and existing clients, spot opportunities and drive the future growth of the pharma and portfolios.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable representing the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses.
- The ability to craft engaging copy and written value propositions whilst building relationships with global C-level executives.
- A collaborative attitude. Team players.
- The desire to progress and develop your skills further.
- The ability to adapt to changes in markets and articulate potential solutions to a range of stakeholders over the phone, in person and on video calls.
