We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer – Senior to join our team in Manufacturing in Denver, CO. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Driving End-to-End Process Implementation: You’ll lead the creation and execution of manufacturing processes that align with safety, quality, and business goals—ensuring smooth product launches and operational excellence.
  • Applying Advanced Manufacturing Expertise: By leveraging deep knowledge of manufacturing principles, you’ll identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes that boost efficiency and product quality.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement Initiatives: You’ll utilize tools like Six Sigma or Lean to drive process optimization, reduce waste, and establish best practices aligned with Cummins standards.
  • Influencing Key Stakeholders: Through clear communication and collaboration, you’ll align cross-functional teams and external partners around project goals, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Managing Strategic Projects: You’ll oversee complex projects from concept to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Coaching and Developing Others: By mentoring stakeholders and team members, you’ll build capability across the organization and foster a culture of learning and accountability.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Safety: You’ll ensure all processes meet safety and manufacturing standards, contributing to a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.
  • Standardizing Manufacturing Practices: You’ll lead the development and implementation of standardized work methods that improve consistency, reduce variability, and support scalable growth.

  • Strategic Equipment and Tool Selection: Select and procure equipment, tools, and fixtures that meet Cummins specifications and project needs, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
  • Process Standardization and Documentation: Develop clear, standardized process documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and ease of training across teams.
  • Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving: Use structured problem-solving and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance efficiency.
  • Digital and Analytical Capabilities: Leverage simulation tools and data analysis to model manufacturing processes, validate changes before implementation, and make data-driven decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

This role will be focused at the Denver Master Rebuild Center, leading projects and operational activities to support Manufacturing Operations. Fully Onsite.
