The HR Apprentice role is a developmental position within the newly formed HR Operations Team. During the apprenticeship, you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study with New Durham College. The working hours are flexible across Monday to Friday. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a CIPD Level 3 qualification.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team specialising in Human Resources for our HR Operations Team in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

Qualifications:

  • 2 GCSE's 9-5/A-C in Maths & English.
  • 3 other GCSE subjects at 9-5/A-C required.
  • Psychology, business or law is desirable but not essential.
  • 3 A Levels A-C is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to employees in assembly, technical, engineering, and specialist support roles.
  • Work across multiple Terms and Conditions of employment in Darlington, Leeds, and Cumbernauld.
  • Assist in employee relations activities across all sites.
  • Execute projects aimed at process improvement.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the HR function.
  • Collaborate effectively within a diverse and dynamic team environment.

Skills:

  • Ability to be proactive and seek solutions to problems while managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word to a good standard.
  • A self-starter who is motivated to use your own initiative and has good attention to detail.
